Trade Deadline is July 31st at Midnight EST
Post your trades in the Completed Trades thread.
Once it's posted the other GM must also confirm it in the thread.
All salary information must be posted in the thread as well.
It's up to the 2 GM's making the trade to decide who pays what when making the trade.
After that I'll review it and as long as the money checks out it will be finalized.
You can then just add/drop the players on Yahoo.
Draft picks can be traded.
GM's can now restructure a player's contract(by frontloading) when they acquire him via trade. You'll have 48 hours after the trade is approved to do this. You can either post it in the trade thread or just let me know. (Added January 15th, 2014)
"Future Considerations or A Player to be Named Later" are not allowed to be parts of a trade.
***Disclaimer***
I'm not going to be making a point of policing trades. We're all adults here and if you make a "bad trade" it's on you. As long as the financial aspect of the trade balances out and I do not expect collusion, I'm going to put it through 99% of the time. Now if the trade were Mike Trout, Ryan Braun, and Miguel Cabrera for Cesar Izturis, then yes I'd veto it. With that said, the point is I want GM's to feel comfortable managing their teams and I want them to be able to use whatever strategy they want and to be able to make trades without people complaining all the time. We all value players differently so let's keep the bitching about trades and the negativity out of this league. End rant. Thanks for reading!
