The polls are completed and we have 3 new league changes.
2016 1)The cut deadline in which you can cut a player and save 50% for the current season is July 5th at 11:59EST. For any cuts after the deadline you will owe the player 100% of his salary for the current season. As always, you still save 50% on all future years that the player is signed for regardless of whether you cut before or after the July 5th deadline.
2017 2)Each team will have 2 franchise tags per season instead of 1.
3)We will have a new compensation pick system in which the team signing a franchise tagged player loses a 4th round pick(or lowest/worst pick if they do not have a 4th). If a team has no picks in the current season they will lose their lowest/worst pick in the following season. Maximum of 1 lost pick no matter how many franchise tagged players they sign.
The team declining to match receives a compensation pick based on the AAS(Average Annual Salary) in which his franchise tagged player was signed for. The scale is below:
$5M or less = Compensation Pick After 4th round $5.25M-$10M = Compensation Pick After 3rd round $10.25M-$15M = Compensation Pick After 2nd round $15.25M or higher = Compensation Pick After 1st round

Are the compensation picks tradeable?

I believe the vote we had last year decided they were not tradeable. I'd have to look back to make sure.

It was voted that they couldn't be traded. But in all honesty I think we should scrap that rule and make them tradeable. If I wanted to trade my comp pick to Mike, for example, I would just ask him who he wants and then after the draft I'd trade him that player for whatever we agreed to. Seems like extra hassle to me so they might as well be tradeable.

I'd argue they should not be because it's not something every owner would have. And also it would depend on the round they are after.

Ok they can stay untradeable. You can trade the player you take in the comp round immediately after the draft then just as long as you don't trade the actual pick.
